All Darrell's jewellery is designed and handmade by himself, using the traditional skills of the silversmith/ jeweller and painstakingly hand finished so that the subtlety of the natural patina of the gold and silver are not lost.

He is emphatic that 'technique must not be an end in itself, it must enhance the wearer, be ergonomic and be true to the materials'. Darrell has channelled his artistic skills into exquisite inlay and overlay work and finely seen detailing (the real art of the jeweller).
